Les Haber, VP National Sales


Les Haber’s extensive experience in broadcast advertising, marketing, branding and sales, on all platforms, spans 30 years of successful, innovative and breakthrough campaigns — from conceptualization to execution.

Les has spent roughly half his sales career in radio, the other half in television, and has supported accounts and led sales teams with a number of well known broadcasting companies including Clear Channel Radio, Salem Communications and Pax TV, among others.

Les has worked tirelessly on local, regional and national accounts including, but not limited to: Coca Cola, Mazda, Nissan, GM, Dodge and Honda dealerships and vehicle launches, HBO, Home Depot, the Indy Challenge, McDonald’s, KFC, Pizza Hut, Bank Atlantic and Florida No Fault Insurance.

Les is a creative, and forward thinking problem solver. By no mistake, his career includes being directly involved in a number of ‘firsts’:

  • The first in-flight programming – which included the marketing and sales of $2.3M in first year revenues for Eastern Airlines alone
  • The first television broadcasts for the University of Miami Football
  • The first television broadcasts for the Miami Heat
  • The first television or radio broadcasts for varying sports of Florida State University, University of South Florida, Florida Atlantic University and Florida International University

Les holds both Bachelors and Masters degrees in Communications, and has served on the Board of Governors for the National Association of Television Arts & Sciences (Suncoast), the Board of Directors for the Florida Special Olympics, co-founded the Child Assault Prevention Project, is an active member of the Mankind Project and past Adjunct Professor of Programming Theory and Media Management at Florida International University.

Les is a longtime resident of Miami and enjoys spending time with his family, boating and nature. He is also a jazz percussionist and heads up his own jazz quintet, performing at music venues and special engagements. Les has played with the likes of BB King, Ray Charles, Cannonball Adderly and Monty Alexander.
