When she started her career, Kate wasn't sure what direction her future would take. After bouncing from small radio show to small radio show, she finally got her big break at KRLD in Dallas, Texas as Sports Director. And from there, her career exploded.

Delaney is an Emmy award-winning broadcaster who has interviewed over 16,000 people in her 20+ year radio and television career. She earned a Television Emmy for her special report on the AIDS epidemic in New Mexico and several Golden Mics for a series on immigration. She is one of the first women to ever host a solo Sports Radio Talk Show on WFAN in New York City and KRLD in Dallas. She’s covered 15 Super Bowls, 10 U.S. Opens, and 15 Final Fours. She has also been to the Kentucky Derby 10 times along with the other two Triple Crown races - the Preakness and the Belmont.

Kate Delaney is not just a face on the tube or a voice on the radio. As a business woman she ran The Golden Broadcasters radio network as Chief Operating Officer. She negotiated contracts for millions of dollars with show hosts, advertisers, and network personnel and helped to negotiate the rights for the Texas Rangers for CBS. In 2015, NBC Sports Radio hired Kate to host her own pair of weekend shows.

She speaks at associations, conferences, meetings, colleges, professional and non- professional sports teams, colleges, and companies. Delaney has worked with the Las Vegas Thunder, Golden State Warriors, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Radio Shack, McDonald’s, Southern Methodist University, and many more organizations. Her first book, Level the Playing Field, Balls, Brats & Other B.S., an Amazon best seller, is all about helping you drive the conversation and floor friends, co-workers and family with interesting facts, trivia and mind blowing stories.

Kate's most recent book, Deal Your Own Destiny, Kate shared the pivotal moments and decisions that furthered her career and helps readers understand how they can take control of their futures and pave their own roads to success. Though it took years of hard work and even harder decisions, Kate learned what it took to pioneer her work into the career of her dreams. She understands how important it is to take the necessary steps to craft your future to be exactly what you always dreamed it would be.

Kate is a graduate of Ohio University and lives in Sarasota with her husband Paul and her equally hard-working pooch Guinness.
